Our Creative School project is now up and running- funded by the Arts Council of Wales

Lead Creative Schools Scheme

For the second year running we are pleased to announce our involvement with the above project. Year 4 and 6 will be undertaking the 10 week project which will focus on a creative approach to collective worship. The children will also develop their oracy skills and learn how to use new digital technologies like green screen and stop motion. 

Our creative practitioners this term are:

Martin Daws; Spoken Word Poet, Writer and Creative Educator with 20 years professional experience.

Sian Miriam Parry; Performance tutor and folk/ spoken word performer.

The Lead Creative Schools Scheme aims to promote new ways of working in schools, providing the opportunity to develop an innovative and bespoke programme of learning designed to improve the quality of teaching and learning.
